EA Play Live Reveals Three New EA Original Games

EA Play Live has just revealed three new games in the EA Originals format: Zoink’s Lost in Random. Hazelight Studios’ It Takes Two and Final Strike Games’ Rocket Arena.

Rocket Arena is a new hero shooter where players will get the chance to master themaster the art of the rocket through unique, customizable play styles and fast-paced combat that reinvents classic rockets-only mayhem. Players can experience Rocket Arena on July 14, 2020 when the game launches with cross-play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin and Steam.

It Takes Two, is scheduled to launch  in 2021, is a co-op action adventure platformer from Hazelight, developer of the critically acclaimed and award-winning A Way Out. 

Founded to push the creative boundaries of what’s possible in games, Hazelight is the award-winning studio behind the critically acclaimed Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and A Way Out. It Takes Two is their next project – an innovative co-op adventure where uniquely varied gameplay and emotional storytelling intertwine in a fantastical journey.

Zoink’s Lost in Random, a gothic fairytale action-adventure with a very modern message, is set in a twisted dystopia where uncertainty and chaos are feared. Lost in Random releases in 2021 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Origin and Steam.

Welcome to the world of Random, a dark kingdom where every citizen’s future is determined by the roll of a dice. Will you be defeated by your fate or embrace chaos and learn to make it work in your favor?

During today’s EA Play Live event, Skate 4 was announced, as well as the launch of Apex Legends on Steam and Nintendo Switch, the company also announced that more of their IPs will feature cross-play functionality.

Next gen project such as Dragon’s Age 4  and Criterion’s next racing game were teased. It was also announced that their EA games will be present at more platforms than ever, EA Access will also be making its way to Steam, this means that it will be the first subscription service to arrive on Steam.

Star Wars fans were also delighted to see the astonishing gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons.
