From indie developers Mobius Digital, Outer Wilds has officially received a release date for the PC and Xbox One, and it’s arriving very soon. The new open-world space mystery title will have players exploring and remembering their endeavors in a unique setting seeing players trapped in an endless time-loop.

Outer Wilds will feature a 20-minute time loop tasking players to learn as much as they can about the universe around them before being shuttled back to the beginning of the loop. Learning, exploring and remembering what you’ve discovered is at the heart of the game’s progression, providing players with a unique adventure along the way.
It’s also been announced that new adventure will be a timed exclusive to the Epic Games Store on the PC and will release on the Xbox One as a timed console exclusive. There’s currently no window for when the game will arrive on other platforms, but it is expected to do so in the future.
Outer Wilds is set to launch on the PC and Xbox One on May 30, 2019.
