Yesterday, a video of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo was leaked on Reddit. Today, the Reddit community has found the file size of both the demo and the complete version of the game; it’s also being reported by MP1ST that the demo is “playable on devkits running 6.50 and above.”

What the community of Reddit has found is that the demo file size should be around 10GB, and the final version of the game will be around 73GB, which suggests that a Blu-ray version of the game will need at least a two-disc release.

Take a look at the Final Fantasy VII Remake video down below:

Reddit users decoded the information leaked and found out the game is already uploaded to the PlayStation Network server. From all the data they could analyze, two interesting elements were discovered:

“An .XML file that suggests that the Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo will be available in different languages. They also discovered the inclusion of seven scenarios. Some users suggest this could mean the number of cinematics while others argue it can be the evidence of the game’s different episodes.”

Take a peek at the leaked information below:

Michael Yannone reported yesterday Square Enix recently hosted an event at Animate, a popular store located in Tokyo, Japan. In this event fans of the franchise could acquire all kind of merchandise based on Final Fantasy VII.

“The most notable things for shoppers to see while they were there were life-size versions of Cloud’s buster sword and Hardy-Daytona bike. YouTube user, Giuseppe’s Gaming – Twinfinite, was able to get a video showing off the two models in person. There also a bunch of pictures in the article posted on his website.”

The first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake is scheduled for release on March 3, 2020. At the moment all the leaked information is unofficial and Square Enix has not made an announcement about the leak or when the demo will be available.
