Cyberpunk 2077 New Screenshots Shows a Chaos in Night City

Gamescom 2019 is now hosting dozens of developers and publishers along with a huge amount of fans who want to check out the new trailers from their beloved games and get their hands on them for the first time. CD Projekt RED is also present at the expo with its anticipated role-playing action Cyberpunk 2077. While the Polish studio has promised to showcase the new gameplay footage on August 30, it’s been sharing new in-game screenshots from the game since the opening of expo to tease the upcoming lengthy livestream.

The new shots are showing-off some new areas of the city which seems to be under attack, as if a huge riot has taken over Night City. Aside from a new car that’s been represented in two images, two other shots showcase the first-person view of V while shooting at the enemies. You can also spot the HUD for the game in one of the images which doesn’t seem so different compared to last year’s footage.

Yesterday, we received another set of screenshots that represent new characters and some interesting locations within Night City. Currently, the game is set to be launched next year on April 16 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. no further details have been shared on its post-launch contents yet, but CDPR is still considering a multiplayer mode for the game if it fits into the structure of Cyberpunk 2077.

Along with showing the gameplay footage, Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay Contest is another part of CDPR’s plans for Gamescom 2019. This is the first stage for the competition and winners will be qualified to the grand finale. This year’s Gamescom is being held from August 20 to August 24.
