The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee does not confirm the launch date of the game, however,  the leak indicates the main setting of the game. Confirming the analysis reported yesterday, our favorite marsupial will go through a time travel and explore new dimensions.

Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.

Acording to analyst Daniel Ahmad, the game was planned to be announced during Summer Game Fest on June 22. He also states that the game won’t be launching on Switch.

Back in 2019, Activision stated that Crash and Spyro are flagship titles, the industry giant suggested that remasters and newer experience for the younger audience was planned for the near future.

“Since its inception, Activision remains steadfast in its efforts to drive global growth and engagement for Activision Blizzard’s flagship brands, including Activision’s Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro, and Blizzard’s Overwatch and World of Warcraft. Additionally, with Activision Blizzard at the vanguard of competitive entertainment, Activision Blizzard  continues to raise the bar for esports via the merchandise program for the Overwatch League as we usher in a new generation of fans and athletes.”

The game is being developed at Toys for Bob, known for the development of Spyro Reignited Trilogy and being the creators of Skylanders .
