Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass Will Officially Come to PC; More Details at E3 2019

Xbox policies are going to get injected to Windows 10 with new steps getting done by Microsoft. After revealing Cross-play capability between Xbox and Microsoft through recent years and making more Xbox-exclusive games available on Windows 10, now Xbox Game Pass is coming to PC and more details will be shared at E3 2019.

With the start of the current generation of consoles, Microsoft decided to reduce the gap between Xbox One and Windows 10 as its two powerful platforms on stores. At first, the company began to launch some Xbox-exclusive titles on PC, then it goes a bit further and make a connection between both platforms’ players by introducing cross-play and now PC gamers are about to get Xbox Game Pass service, as the most trending game service of these days.

According to Microsoft, Xbox Game Pass on PC will provide a different experience that fits into the platform. Like Xbox One, PC gamers will get infinite access to more than 100 games by subscribing to the service. Bethesda, Sega, Deep Silver, Paradox Interactive and Devolver Digital are a bunch of publishers and developers that will update the service by releasing their titles on it. Xbox Game Studios will also release its titles on the service for PC gamers right after the games reached their launch date. There are 75 developers and publishers that Microsoft is working with to deliver as much content as it can to Windows 10. Just like Xbox owners, PC gamers will get 20% off for purchasing the titles within the service and 10% off for their post-launch contents.

Moreover, Microsoft also shared about his vision on releasing Xbox Game Studios titles on other digital stores as well as Microsoft Store for PC in order to provide a wide variety of options for players to purchase their games from wherever they like. The policy starts with releasing Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears 5 and all Age of Empires titles on Steam. Microsoft is now working to make more stores enable to host its first-party titles for PC.

Furthermore, Microsoft also announced that they “will enable full support for native Win32 games to the Microsoft Store on Windows”, since they “recognize that Win32 is the app format that game developers love to use and gamers love to play.”

All of the announcements above will get more details at E3 2019, so stay tuned.
