Publisher ININ Games has recently announced that the reboot of the classic side-scrolling beat ’em up ninja title, The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, is set to release in the west at the end of August. Along with the announcement also comes a new trailer for the retro-inspired title showing off some of the modern edge given to the classic series.

The Ninja Saviors brings back the classic arcade action from the coveted The Ninja Warriors title from the 80s and 90s. Originally released as The Ninja Warriors for the arcades along with a remake for the SNES titled The Ninja Warriors Again,Return of the Warriors brings back the dystopian side-scroller as players reprise the roles of the android ninja warriors.
Fans can pick up Return of the Warriors either physically or digitally, with physical copies coming packed with a poster and sticker set. And anyone pre-ordering the title will also receive an exclusive The Ninja Saviors keychain.
The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors is set to release in Japan on July 25, 2019 while the western release has been announced for August 30, 2019. The game will be available on the Switch and PS4.
