Quick Look at Nightwolf for Mortal Kombat 11 Shared By Ed Boon

With the first fighter pack now underway for NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11, fans are becoming anxious to learn more about the upcoming fighters. Or at the very least, get a look at what their appearance when they arrive. The latest glimpse at one of these recently announced characters is a quick teaser of Nightwolf shared by the series co-creator, Ed Boon.

While this isn’t exactly an exciting trailer showing off abilities, gameplay and fatalities of the spiritual warrior, we do get a pretty good look at Nightwolf and his iconic lightning summoning axe.

As for now there’s no official release date on when players will receive Nightwolf, or any of the other new fighters for that matter. Along with Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, both classic warrior Sindel and horror icon Spawn have also been confirmed for fighter pack slots. Other previous rumors suggest either Joker, Terminator or Ash Williams would make their way over to the game as well, but none of those have been officially confirmed.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC. Players may purchase the fighter pack to receive all add-on characters when they release, or purchase each fighter separately.
