The Assassin’s Creed 1 Remake May Be Ubisoft’s Next Remake

According to the Assassin’s Creed YouTuber and streamer xj0nathan on Twitter, Assassin’s Creed 1 may be the next remake Ubisoft plans to release. The publisher previously confirmed that several remakes are currently in development, making a remake of Assassin’s Creed 1 likely. Additionally, in the latest episode of Insider Gaming Weekly, it was mentioned that another Assassin’s Creed remake is in the works and that it is one of the “earlier” games. However, it has not yet been confirmed which game it is.

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Quebec recently announced that the Assassin’s Creed IV remake, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, will launch on July 9. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $69.99. The remake features new graphical and technological enhancements, additional quests and stories, reworked naval combat, a reworked combat system, dynamic weather, and more. Matt Ryan will also reprise his role as Edward Kenway. A new reveal and game overview trailer have also been released.
