Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is adding the two new characters to its roster, the first of which is available now, while the second will make his appearance on February 14, 2020.

Seth, the “King of Chaos” and boss character from Street Fighter IV, takes on a new form, returning as a master move mimicker in Champion Edition on Valentine’s Day.

Current players seeking some new content to fight over, can check out the December update that released today—offering Gill, a new stage, and new gameplay features to try out. In addition, an all-new trailer for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition debuted today, showcasing more of this robust new version’s 40 characters, 34 stages and 200+ costumes.

The Street Fighter series is known for its memorable bosses, and Seth’s iconic role in Street Fighter IV was among the greatest. Though Seth shuffled off this mortal coil in his past appearance, part of his intelligence managed to survive, and the remnants of his biological brain have been transferred to a new physical form. As always seeking new data from the most epic fighters in the world, Seth has the ability to steal a character’s moves, and then use them against an opponent. Players who go up against Seth after his February release should exercise caution, plan accordingly, and expect to eat some of their own medicine, as bitter as that might taste.

Releasing today, Gill makes his angelic return, ready to bless Champion Edition players with his presence. The leader of the Secret Society and the end boss of the Street Fighter III series, Gill brings elemental balance to the game, armed with a wide variety of fire and ice attack options. Gill joined the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition roster today, and players may purchase him separately for USD $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money. Gill’s home base, the “Sun Chase Moon” stage, is also available to players, with a purchase price of USD $3.99, or 70,000 Fight Money.

In part of today’s update, all new V-Skills are available to each character in the game. These new abilities provide added depth to the gameplay system, opening up a plethora of new strategies for players to choose from. In addition, a new battle balance update offers general game improvements and character-specific updates. Available now, this update is a free download for all players.
