Shin Megami Tensei V is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch in about a month and a half. This has been a long time coming since the previous title in the series Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse was released 5 years prior, with this newest entry being announced shortly after that. Soon players will be able to dive back into the post-apocalyptic horror setting of the SMT mainline series, but before that studio has released a trailer introducing the west to the English voice cast for the game.

This was tweeted out by Nintendo of America, with several members of the voice cast than taking to Twitter to announce their roles with character art. Atlus has always worked with great localization teams in the past, leading to memorable voice performances so this will most likely be no exception.

In the trailer, we get a good look at the characters with their voice actors and names displayed next to them. Each character then gets a brief amount of dialog from the game, helping to explain what their role will be. We will also list the full voice cast below:

  • Casey Mongillo as Protagonist
  • Jeannie Tirado as Tao Isonokami
  • Mark Whitten as Yuzuru Atsuta
  • Ashlyn Madden as Miyazu Atsuta
  • Stuart Allan as Ichiro Dazai
  • Sean Crisden as Hayao Koshimizu
  • Cissy Jones as Abdiel
  • Ben Lepley as Shohei Yakumo
