Square Enix’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider flew under the radar for most, despite being an action-packed and beautiful game. Holding a 75 at Metacritic, the reviews for the game have certainly been mixed. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has received everything from a 95 out of 100 all the way down to a 40 out of 100 as reviewed by Telegraph. Personally, the game isn’t perfect by any means, but it’s still a lush, engaging adventure that fans of the action genre or Lara Croft need to give a shot.
What better time than now to hop into the series as Square Enix has announced Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. This edition of the game will include all the previous released DLC, missions, outfits and contents from the Season Pass. Users that already own Shadow of the Tomb Raider and its Season Pass will be automatically upgraded to the Definitive Edition.
