Rise of the Tomb Raider ‘Cold Darkness Awakened’ DLC Releasing March 29

Rise of the Tomb Raider will receive Cold Darkness Awakened, its final slice of extra content, on the 29th March.

Cold Darkness Awakened takes Lara to a decommissioned Cold War research base, which holds a dark past that has been unleashed into the Siberian wilderness. As a deadly affliction spreads, Trinity soldiers transform into bloodthirsty killers who thrive on carnage and Lara must rely on her wits, physical agility, and crafting abilities to overcome this new enemy and shut down the decommissioned base.

The pack will be available individually for $9.99 or free with the season pass for $29.99. The pass also includes the Survival mode and Baba Yaga: Temple of the Witch DLC packs which have already been released.

“Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics will release the third Rise of The Tomb Raider content pack titled Cold Darkness Awakened on March 29 for PC on Steam and The Windows Store for $9.99. Players who have purchased the Season Pass or have downloaded the additional content separately will be able to continue the journey as Lara Croft takes on nightmarish predators in an abandoned Cold War base. Cold Darkness Awakened will also be available that same day for Xbox One and Xbox 360.”
