VGC sources claims Dusk Golem’s information is accurate, the outlet confirms AestheticGamer’s leak, Ethan Winters will be the protagonist of the game. Resident Evil 8 will also add new mechanics, in both gameplay and the narrative of the game. “Hallucinations, Occultism, insanity and not being able to trust others are huge thematics of the game”. The game will also introduce new creatures, the allegedly confirmed are mythical creatures, information of Werewolves is unofficially confirmed by the outlet.

AestheticGamer also suggest that, Capcom was planning to announce the game at E3 2020, he claims that “later this month” Capcom will tease the game, followed by an announcement in the following months.

“I do not know precisely when the game will be revealed. I do know the original ideas was it was going to be revealed at this E3, but of course that’s not happening now. The later this month comment is something different than an official announcement” … “should be revealed within the next few months, it is first-person, and many purists are going to hate it because it’s taking some serious departures in the story/enemies and the like.”

AestheticGamer’s credibility is pretty high, the Twitter user has been known for leaking information from Capcom in a very accurate way.

Back in 2017 leaked information from Capcom, revealing that a Resident Evil 7 DLC was on its way, that turned to be true. Back in 2018 he also leaked that Resident Evil 3 Remake was in development. Shortly after in March 2019 he revealed that Resident Evil 3 Remake would release shortly after Resident Evil 2 Remake that also turned to be true.
