Resident Evil 3 Remake file size has been revealed, containing Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 3 Resistance. Players will need 43.01 GB of storage in order to install the game. Each game might be able to download separately, although they’re part of a bundle so they must be acquired together.
Announced recently at PlayStation’s State of Play, the game is scheduled to release on April 3, 2020. A limited edition of the game is available now at Gamestop. Players who pre-order will receive an exclusive Classic Costume Pack, which will feature the original design for Jill Valentine, as well as the original hairstyle for Carlos Oliveira.
“The Resident Evil 3 Remake Collector’s Edition possesses a physical copy of the game, a printed artbook, an 11-inch Jill Valentine figure, a Raccoon City map, and a digital soundtrack, all of which is packaged inside a S.T.A.R.S item box. The Collector’s Edition is available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for USD $179.99 and will not be available for players on PC.”
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis originally launched for the PlayStation and is set 24 hours prior to Resident Evil 2. The second half of the game takes place two days after. The remake follows the same formula that led Resident Evil 2 Remake to success: third-person action, RE engine, and the freedom to move the camera angles in accordance with the player’s needs. Players will also be able to participate in multiplayer with Resident Evil 3: Resistance, an asymmetrical cooperative play mode in which players must survive against a “mastermind” that will challenge their combat abilities.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox One X, and PC via Steam on April 3, 2020. As shown on the Xbox Store, the game will be Xbox One X enhanced, featuring HDR support along with 4k resolution.
