Bandai Namco recently announced that it will release an arcade version of Resident Evil 2 Remake later this year. It will launch first in Japan and Europe as a test run in selected locations before rolling out to other regions in the future. The arcade version of the remake will include several immersive elements, including haptics on the arcade guns, an external device that sprays mist, and a floor that shakes and quakes. It will also feature new cutscene and enemy changes, giving returning players something to look forward to. Lastly, a trailer showcasing the gameplay and cutscenes featured in the arcade version was also released. Resident Evil 2 Remake first launched on January 25, 2019 and is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
