Sony has recently revealed the upcoming line up of free to play games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. 2021 will bring Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Maneater, and the action RPG GreedFall. All the games will be available on January 5 said the company in a press release.
PlayStation Plus starts 2021 with a bang. PlayStation Plus members will receive two PS4 titles – action adventure Shadow of the Tomb Raider and action RPG Greedfall – on Tuesday January 5. On the same day, PlayStation 5 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership can play a terrifying apex predator in the open world (sea?) RPG Maneater.
Developed by Tripwire Interactive, the mature game Maneater takes players on an open world, action RPG where they take the role of the shark. Starting the game as a small shark pup players will have the task of surviving the harsh sea while eating their way up the ecosystem. By doing this, the player will explore a large and varied open world encountering diverse enemies, both human and wildlife.

Maneater has been redesigned for PlayStation 5, the new version features native 4k HRD resolutions running at 60 FPS, the game also take the best from the immersive feedback of the haptic motors of the Dualsense. The game will also feature Ray Tracing technology at a later patch.
Find the right resources and you can grow and evolve far beyond what nature intended, allowing the player to tailor the shark to their play style. This is fortunate because to get revenge on the cruel fisherman that dismembered you will take evolving into a massive shark, an apex predator of legends. Eat. Explore. Evolve.
Maneater features a full narrative, story-based campaign narrated by Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, Rick, and Morty) and set against the backdrop of a reality TV show. The game also boasts a unique battle system including other apex predators. It’s up to the player to fight against various types of human hunters ranging from town drunks all the way up to the Coast Guard.
PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4 will only receive Shadow of the Tomb Raider and GreedFall.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will take players through the dense and perilous jungles of South America in Lara Croft’s biggest adventure to date as you race to save the world from a Maya apocalypse. Players can opt for a different action RPG with GreedFall, a game that will take players on the exploration of a remote island full of fantastic creatures, lost secrets, and amazing adventures.
