New Details Revealed For concrete Genie’s VR Modes

The upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive title Concrete Genie finally has a release window that was unveiled during Sony’s State of Play episode last week. While many fans have been anticipating this magical painting title already, a VR mode coming with the title was introduced during the program, as well.

In a blog post from PlayStation, it appears the details regarding the new VR modes have surfaced giving us a bit more insight on what to expect from the upcoming title. The two modes, VR Experience and Free Paint, will have players painting their way around the sea-side town of Denska utilizing the immersive tech and allowing players to paint to their heart’s content.

On VR Experience:

“In our first PS VR mode, VR Experience, you’ll follow a curious Genie named Splotch beneath Denska’s ominous lighthouse on a quest to unlock a mysterious power while using your Living Paint in a completely new way.” – Jeff Brown, Creative Director at San Mateo Studio

With Concrete Genie looking like a stellar hit without VR, the new virtual reality modes looks to bring more of the game to life. Concrete Genie is set to release in the Fall of 2019, and will be available for both non VR and VR owners.
