Mass Effect Andromeda ‘Join the Andromeda Initiative’ Trailer

Mass Effect Andromeda ‘Join the Andromeda Initiative’ Trailer

EA has released the newest trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda today.

The most interesting thing in the trailer is the voiceover that states there action will occur ‘600 years from where we stand’ – we see a pretty intact planet Earth and the dreadnaught class Hyperion ship in orbit near the moon: it’s all painting a more complete picture of what we can expect from the game.

Essentially, the Andromeda Initiative is the Mass Effect: Andromeda newsletter, though there is an indication of a reward for “program completion”. What that is remains to be seen but we should learn more on Monday, November 7th, N7 Day.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be out in Spring 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Check out the Trailer:

“While the trailer takes the Andromeda Initiative seriously, this newsletter is a way for EA to stay in contact with the biggest Mass Effect fans. The upcoming sci-fi epic is easily one of the publisher’s most important releases yet for the current generation, and it wants to maximize its return on investment. And one of the ways it thinks it can do that is by embracing the lore and world-building that BioWare has done.”
