Marvel’s Blade Creative Director Gives An Update On The Game

Arkane Studios co-creative director Dinga Bakaba recently provided a brief update on the development of the studio’s upcoming action-adventure game Marvel’s Blade. When asked by a content creator for progress on the game, Bakaba shared that development is moving forward smoothly and that the team is working hard. “The team is hard at work, everyone is super proud and out doing themselves,” he wrote. “Please be patient, it will be a special game and we all hope it will be meeting the high standards that we set for ourselves and for you all.”

According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb on a 2023 episode of the XboxEra Podcast,  the action adventure game Marvel’s Blade will launch sometime in 2027. Grubb states that “right now, internally, they are expecting that to be sold on store shelves and digitally in 2027. That is the year that they are aiming for that game.” According to the publisher, Marvel’s Blade game will “take players to a quarantined section of Paris in the middle of a supernatural emergency. Vampires have emerged, terrorizing the city of lights and forcing Parisians to shelter inside their homes at night to wait for sunrise.”
