The Last of Us Part II was object of a malicious leak that was devastating for the launch of the game, hackers exploited a vulnerability in the security of Naughty Dog. Jason Schreier explains that due to a patch in a previous Naughty Game hackers found access to the studio servers, what they found is access to footage of developers testing the game.

After seeing the leak, a discussion in social media websites and forums took place, as some feels that Naughty Dog pushed too far with the story of the game, and destroyed what the first game accomplished.
