Grand Theft Auto VI May be Launching Soon – Rumor

According to the latest Grand Theft Auto VI rumor, the game is nearly finished, the studio is hiring game testers in order to find all the bugs and errors  before the game launches potentially in late 2020 or early 2021.

The allegedly listing from Rockstar Games obviously does not mention which game testers will work on, but if the recent rumors are to be believed and Jason Schreier’s information is true, Grand Theft Auto VI might be announced soon.

Back in April 2020, Jason Schreier confirmed the development of Grand Theft Auto VI through information leaked from Rockstar Games’ insiders. According to what Schreier was told,  Rockstar opted for a different approach in the next installment of GTA, the game will release on a much smaller scale compared to GTA V, the game would later be expanded through DLC.

Other allegedly insiders claimed to have  information from Rockstar Games, in early 2020, an elaborated rumor was uploaded on Reddit. The allegedly information suggest that the worldmap of the next installment will be huge, Rockstar would include three states and two major cities, Carcer City (Based on Boston and the East Coast of USA) and Vice City (Miami, Florida). An abundance of towns, waterfronts, and suburbs are expected to be present.

Another rumor from an allegedly former Rockstar employee, indicates that Grand Theft Auto VI’s world map will be very similar to San Andreas, featuring three major cities and one small town. The main difference from the PS2 title is that the map will be as big as “Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 combined”.

He also claims that the story will be centered in the 1980s before it skips to the present, a change of protagonist is expected to take place during the change in eras. Weapons will have a much more realistic feel compared to Grand Theft Auto V.
