According to the latest information from Sucker Punch, the studio is looking for a narrative writer to “help create engaging narrative content for our upcoming projects”, Ghost of Tsushima may be getting a sequel.

Sucker Punch is looking for developing a “AAA open-world game” with a “stories set in feudal Japan”. The studio is looking for a writer that has “knowledge of feudal Japanese history.” All this information might confirm that Ghost of Tsushima may be confirmed in the following months.

Is important to mention that even if Ghost of Tsushima is set in the 13th century at the feudal age of Japan, Sucker Punch might also develop a new game, set in the same world, while recycling some of the acclaimed game.

In recent news from Sucker Punch, the developer has confirmed that Ghost of Tsuhsima will be playable at 60 fps on the PlayStation 5, the game will be shocasing the console’s Game Boost feature.

Ghost of Tsushima v1.1 launched last week, the update introduced Legends, the new co-op mode and New Game Plus.

“Once you have version 1.1, you’ll notice a new character at various towns and locations in Tsushima… Gyozen the Storyteller” Says Darren Bridges “He’s heard the rumors about the Ghost of Tsushima, but he has a different perspective about what’s actually happening in his homeland. Gyozen is the author and gatekeeper of the stories you’ll find in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, and when you talk to him, he’ll be happy to share one of his transportative stories about the “Ghosts.”

A sequel to the critically acclaimed game is a good move by Sucker Punch, the new IP has managed to sell over 2.4 million copies worldwide in its first three days of sale.
