Square Enix has released a new demo for the Xbox Series, Microsoft PC, and Switch 2 versions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The demo allows players to “experience the beginning of the game through the end of Chapter 2, ‘A New Journey Begins,’ for free.” Players who choose not to proceed to the Mythril Mine can return to previous areas and continue exploring. Data from the demo can be carried over to the full game, and players with demo save data can claim the Kupo Charm and Survival Set, which contains “helpful items.” A demo trailer was also released.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It will launch on June 3 for Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via the Microsoft Store.

Step into the world beyond Midgar with the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo.

Carry over your demo progress to the full version of the game.
If you have save data from the demo, you can claim a the kupo charm and survival set containing helpful items.
*It is not possible to transfer save data from the demo if you create save data for the full game first, but you can still obtain the kupo charm and survival set regardless.
