PlatinumGames’ upcoming action-RPG Astral Chain is gearing up for its release on the Switch with a brand new overview trailer released by Nintendo. The new trailer boasts over 8 minutes of footage giving viewers a good look at gameplay, combat, story and more for the highly-anticipated title.

Astral Chain is the next major release for PlatinumGames and follows the direction of Nier: Automata game designer Takahisa Taura. Players will be able to take on the role of two separate characters at once utilizing the unique “Synergetic Action” feature. Players will use the Legion companions both in battle and solving various puzzles scattered throughout the city, as well as explore the Astral Plane – a mysterious alternate dimension.
Astral Chain is set to release exclusively on the Switch on August 30, 2019.
