The biggest announcement came from Atlus, the Japanese developer confirmed Shin Megami Tensei V for Nintendo Switch, the post-apocalyptic game will launch on 2021. An HD Remaster of Shin Megami Tensei 3 will also launch for Switch in 2021.

Shin Megami Tensei became a cult classic after the third release of the dystopian saga, the JRPG is a dungeon-crawler very challenging game in which a high schooler will survive the apocalypse. It’s up to the player to team up with demons in order to survive and create the new world. The survivor will face deities that will guide him and help him to endure the nightmares that await in the vortex world.

Shin Megami Tensei is one of the most successful sagas of Atlus, and was overshadowed by the newer Persona series. Shin Megami Tensei V has been in development for at least three years as the game was announced in 2017.
