Xbox Game Pass keeps growing and becoming one of the best subscription-based services in the industry. Recently, Xbox announced that the EA Play subscription service will be featured in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no extra cost. Earlier this week Microsoft also announced the acquisition of ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks and id Software among a large repertory of development teams.

After the announcement of Doom Eternal to Game Pass, fans will surely want more from Bethesda, Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls will now be the most demanded games to join the evergrowing library of AAA titles of Game Pass.

“As one of the largest, most critically acclaimed, privately-held game developers and publishers in the world,” Said Microsoft at the announcement of ZeniMax Media’sacquisition. “Bethesda is an incredibly talented group of 2,300 people worldwide who make up some of the most accomplished creative studios in our industry across Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studios.”

Microsoft is trying to get Bungie back into Xbox Game Studios, this was affirmed by the former Game Informer Editor Imran Khan. Xbox is probably trying to get Bungie back into developing a Halo game for Xbox Series X.

Xbox has designed the most powerful next-gen console, and also managed to beat PlayStation with the cheapest next-gen console. Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer knows that PlayStation will use PlayStation Studios as leverage against Xbox. Microsoft’s strategy is to rely on Project xCloud, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox All-Access to become the best-selling video-games console in the next ten years.
