Three years after Remedy’s Quantum Break, now the Finnish studio is about to release its latest story-driven title which will be seemingly their farewell with 8th generation of consoles. Control, which announced at E3 2018 during Sony’s conference, is another supernatural and psychological based game from Remedy’s mastermind, Sam Lake. The game is nearly three months away, but the new gameplay video is here to keep you still hyped.

Thomas Puha, who has revealed some major details about the game in his interview with VG247, appeared in front of camera this time to talk about the game’s overall features and also show off Control’s event at Finland.

During an event in Espoo, Remedy delivered a demo of Control’s gameplay for the fans to get their hands on the game, a few months before release. While I wish I could be there as one of testers, the new trailer that introduces the event briefly, gives a better look and knowledge of its gameplay to the fans, with what Puha says about it. Here you can check out the trailer:

According to what the communication director says, Control will be the very different kind of game that Remedy has delivered so far. It will be a challenging experience that sometimes reminds of Dark Souls series, but definitely it’s not a Dark Souls game. Control will progress in a massive building with lots of locations to explore and abilities to gain. The game’s physics lets you enjoy combats and fight against your enemies in different ways. As Puha said, Control will be more gameplay-driven than the studio’s previous titles.

Remedy’s upcoming third-person shooter will be launching on August 27 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s worth noting that the game will be Epic Games Store exclusive for 12 months.
