Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two launched today, featuring a wave of new content, but a new rumor has suggested that Infinity Ward is planning to include a Battle Royale mode Call of Duty: Modern Warfare soon.

According to Youtuber PrestigeIsKey, Battle Royale mode will arrive, and it’s 99 percent confirmed according to Reddit user iLikeBigBoneGirls. The interesting tease from the developers is a new option in the game’s menu that simply reads “Classified”.


The new cinematic trailer certainly have some elements that are present in a battle royale mode, for example, the scene in which players jump out of a plane. Rumors about a battle royale mode has been present since a bug leaked information of a “BR” mode that would feature 200 players in a single map. According to reports the battle royale mode is being developed by Raven Software and will be released in early 2020 as a free to play, standalone mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two costs 1,300 Call of Duty Points, the new operator is Ghost, he will be instantly available for those who acquire the battle pass. Legendary, Epic and Rare blueprints are included to expand the arsenal of weapons available.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the reboot of the popular trilogy, the game has become the most played COD in the current gen of consoles.
