Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now the most played Call of Duty multiplayer game of the current console generation—within fifty days of its launch.
Infinity Ward’s latest award-winning first-person shooter outpaced all current-gen previous iterations of the franchise, surpassing them all in hours played, hours per player, and average daily players. Since its launch on October 24, 2019, gamers have engaged in almost 300 million multiplayer matches over more than 500 million hours.
At release, Modern Warfare featured a series of firsts for Call of Duty, including crossplay and cross-progression support, as well as the removal of Season Pass and delivery of new post-release content coming free to all players on all platforms.

Players can also jump into new Gunfight maps, play a new Special Ops mission and play fun new modes, starting with Cranked.”
