Bluepoint Games Thanksgiving Tease

A cryptic yet delicious Thanksgiving tweet by American game development studio Bluepoint Games may be yet another potential tease for their next project.

Due to the strange and obscure wording, many fans believe this post is intended to tease one or more projects Bluepoint plans to take up in the near future. Conspicuous words and phrases include “blood, sweat and tears,” “beast,” “flames,” and “genesis.” Fans are interpreting this to indicate that Bluepoint will be remaking or remastering Demon’s Souls, although one optimistic fan also thought they could potentially be referring to an X-Men remaster.

Readers can decide for themselves whether or not the incongruous and bizarre message is a hint, but it follows a similarly loony post made on Halloween, which fans believe was intended to tease titles such as Syphon Filter, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, and more—as well as Demon’s Souls.

Demon’s Souls is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and released in 2009 for the PlayStation 3 platform, and is the predecessor of the Dark Souls franchise. At its release, Demon’s Souls was criticized in Japan for its difficulty, but that same challenging experience earned the game praise in the Western market, with critics enthusing about the difficult combat and addictive gameplay.

Many fans seem excited over the prospect of a Demon’s Souls remaster, and if this tweet really means anything, they may just be getting what they’ve been asking for. Interested gamers might want to keep an eye out come Christmas, as another cryptic tweet could pop up with more clues—or perhaps even an actual game announcement.
