Bloober Team, the studio behind Layers of Fear, is currently working on a new psychological horror experience for Xbox One and PC. Blair Witch is their new project which is set in the well-known world of the movie series of the same name. After releasing a lengthy gameplay footage recently, now the game has received a brief trailer that showcases its dark and horrifying atmosphere.
In Blair Witch, you will play as Ellis, a former police officer who is now tasked as part of an investigation team to follow the clues in Black Hills Forest and find the poor boy. Your only companion in the game will be your own dog who will help you in various ways to find new clues, spot the enemies and locate the destination.
As you progress in the game, you will find more horrifying facts about the place that you’re trapped in. The who once came to the forest to rescue a young boy, now begs for a way to get out of the woods. Here you can check out the new trailer:
Blair Witch will be released on August 30 for Xbox One and PC. The game will be available through Xbox Game Pass on the both platforms, though you can get it for $30.
