Kalypso Media and Daedalic Entertainment announced today, that their turn-based tactical RPG Blackguards 2 is out now as a boxed retail edition across the UK and export territories for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

“The retail version will be available as a Limited Day One Edition containing a digital artbook and digital soundtrack revealing the stunning art and haunting melodies which served as inspiration in the creation of Blackguards 2. The digital version is also available now on the PlayStation® Store, with the Xbox One digital version due to arrive on the Xbox Games Store on 19th September.
In North America, the boxed retail edition of Blackguards 2 on PlayStation®4 has been delayed due to a manufacturing issue – a new release date will be announced as soon as it has been confirmed. The digital version will be available on the PlayStation® Store on 19th September, with the Xbox One boxed retail and digital releases launching on the same day, as scheduled.
