Black Desert Online New Year’s Events Continue

New Year’s events continue to abound in Black Desert Online, with in-game activities making a multitude of rewards available for players to acquire.

The Guardian class pre-release event, Succession update, and special game package promotions are all combining into a myriad of events in which Adventurers can participate to collect various prizes, easing gamers’ ability to progress their characters.

The new Guardian class is scheduled to be released in two weeks (January 22, 2020). To celebrate the imminent launch, a pre-release event is taking place until the class goes live. Players “can get an +20% Item Drop buff by acquiring a Mysterious Axe, a weapon used by the Guardian, which can be found deep within the Ancient Stone Chamber.”

Moreover, Succession is now available for Sorceresses and Berserkers. “Adventurers who Awaken these classes can receive quests from the Black Spirit to acquire Succession skills. These skills will grant more power to main weapons, which will in turn strengthen their characters.” Gamers also have until January 29, 2020 to receive various in-game rewards for every level they reach with Sorceresses and Berserkers between levels 56 and 60.

In addition, a new pearl item is now available in the Pearl Shop: The Secret Book of Old Moon. Players can use this item to acquire various buffs that will help level up their classes. The buffs provided by the Secret Book of Old Moon will be active for seven days. Furthermore, Adventurers “who defeat monsters, gather, and fish can combine these items and sell them for 1 million silver” until January 22, 2020 in celebration of Black Desert SEA’s second anniversary.

Fans who are interested in these Black Desert events can find out more information on the game’s official website.
