Alan Wake 2 Gets Launch Trailer, New Game Plus Mode Announced

Epic Games Publishing and developer Remedy Entertainment have released the launch trailer for Alan Wake 2. The trailer shows cutscenes explaining the game’s story, some gameplay segments, and more. Additionally, the developer announced that the game will have a New Game Plus mode that will allow players keep all their weapons, upgrades, and a new Nightmare difficulty that will include a “new alternative narrative, including new Manuscript pages and new video content”. The New Game Plus mode and new difficulty mode will be released as a post launch update. The “exact release timing [is] still TBD.”  Alan Wake 2 will launch on October 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
