After an absence from the past couple of ‘Ace Attorney’ games, series veteran Maya Fey will return to the franchise in the upcoming entry, ‘Spirit of Justice’.
The trailer,shows off the battles that Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes will be facing, as well as giving us a little more time with Maya who is finally returning to the series after a long absence!
In ‘Spirit of Justice,’ Phoenix travels to the Kingdom of Khura’in and runs into Maya, his old assistant. While in Khura’in, the two take on a foreign justice system that emphasizes spirit channelings over logical arguments. Players will encounter a different kind of prosecution in these courts, where suspects are accused based on the final memories of murder victims.
The game will focus on two different settings. While Phoenix and Maya navigate the courts of Khura’in, the newer attorneys in the series, Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, will hold down the homefront with trials in more familiar courts, providing players with two sets of protagonists, representing two generations of the franchise.

This entry will also see the return of characters like Miles Edgeworth and Simon Blackquill, who made his debut in Dual Destinies.”
