AC: Valhalla Gets A Big Update To Game

At E3 we learned that Assassins Creed: Valhalla has no intention of slowing down any time soon. Not only is the Seige of Paris DLC coming soon to expand the the story further, but even more DLC is planned after that. It was also announced fans of the game can expect the Discovery Tour mode, an educational way to explore the world, will be returning soon.

This is the first time we are seeing a core Assassins Creed game being supported well into it’s second year. Ubisoft has seemed to suggest it might be a while before we see the next game, owing to them working on a fully next gen version. There was also rumors that another game was in development but changed to act as more DLC for the current game. This gives Assassins Creed: Valhalla more time in the spotlight.

You don’t have to wait till either of them to release if your looking to jump back into the world of vikings and norse mythology.A new update released yesterday with plenty of new content to explore. The large patch, which Ubisoft estimates will roll out today at 5am PT / 8am ET / 1pm BST, will weigh in at 18.7 GB on Series X/S, 5.32 GB on PS5, 13.5 GB on Xbox One, 5-13GB on PS4 (depending on region) and 14 GB on PC.

The major thing it adds is a Mastery Challenge set for players to complete. This should be a familiar type of game mode to players. Finding the trials all over allow you to do challenge missions that will test you skills in close combat, range, and stealth. Completing these will offer unidue mastery callenge trials.

On top of that we will see hundreds of little patches and fixes to the gameplay. Here is a complete list of the patch notes:
