Phoenix Point

Phoenix Point Has Been Delayed; Now Comes in December 2019

Snapshot Games officially revealed a bad piece of news for all turn-based strategy fans, especially those who are looking for an alternative for X-Com: Enemy Unknown. According to the studio, their on-going project, Phoenix Point, needs a bit more time to be a polished game with the least bugs and technical issues. So, the game won’t be coming in September 2019.

While Phoenix Point will be available as an early-access for all backers and players who have pre-ordered this version of the game, it will be coming as a full game in December this year. Snapshot Games says:

We know this is not our first delay, and we are very sorry to the fans who we know are highly anticipating getting their hands on Phoenix Point. No one is more disappointed than we are, but we collectively agree that we would rather miss a launch date than ship something that does not meet our exacting standards. We want the Phoenix Point you play to be one of your favorite games of all time, and that means we need a bit more time.

Recently, we’ve received a lengthy gameplay trailer for Phoenix Point during E3 2019, which showcases the game’s different mechanics and features. Xbox One and PC (Epic Games Store) will be the target platforms for the game.
