Xbox Game Pass Now Has The Witcher 3

For those gamers out there still looking for a reason to invest into Xbox Game Pass, today’s new release might have the answer because The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available on the service. The highly-praised, 2015 release is playable for anyone who owns the pass on console. Today’s announcement has Life is Strange: Episode 5 and Pillars of Eternity coming to the service as well.

The Witcher 3 coming to Game Pass is a big deal for Xbox. This is the game that put CD Projekt Red on the map for a lot of gamers, and with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 on the horizon, Xbox wants to be seen as the go to for anything CD Projekt Red.

This is also a big deal because it’s starting to show gamers that Xbox Game Pass should be looked at as a real way for them to play their favorite games. The Witcher 3 isn’t the only notable release this month even. Halo Reach came out on December 3, followed by other popular games such as Tom Clancy’s: The Division and Untitled Goose Game.

The future of the pass looks bright as well. Ori and the Will of the Wisp, Psychonauts 2, and Halo Infinite are all confirmed to be coming out next year, and they will most likely launch on the service the same day they release. Other games such as Darksiders III, Tekken 7, and a bunch of Final Fantasy games are confirmed to be coming as well, even though they don’t have official release dates yet.

Even though The Witcher 3 announcement for the pass is exciting for fans, there is a lot more to look forward to in Game Pass’s future, and releases like these are what may lead gamers to taking it more seriously.
