WRC 8 Gets a New Trailer Showing Career Mode

When it comes to simulation racing titles, there are bunch of studios that are competing closely with each other to bring the most realistic experience of driving cars and taking part in real-world tournaments. Slightly Mad comes with Project Cars, Codemasters enters with F1, Turn 10 develops Forza Motorsport and Kylotonn Games brings WRC. This post goes for the last aforementioned one and WRC 8, as it’s going to launch this year in September.

The new trailer for WRC 8 breaks down the Career Mode which is going to be the core part of the game, simulating the real-world WRC championship. In Career mode there are dozens of things to control and have an eye out for. Driving the car and winning the matches is just the last step that you will take an it won’t end with success if you don’t follow the principals.

First of all, you have to choose a start pint for yourself. As a newcomer, you’re not going to be present at the main WRC championship, so you have to start from WRC 2 or WRC Junior. Before you get through the first event, you have to form up a team of six, including a mechanic, an agent and other staff to work behind the scene and help you through missions. For example, one of your crew members will be able to forecast weather, since the game features dynamic weather system, and you will have the accurate data on the majority of road’s condition in order to choose the best tires.

Moreover, there are lots of data analyzing after each event that will help you to know how you’ve failed or how your opponents succeed to end in first place. Here you can check out the trailer for more details.

WRC 8 will be coming in September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
