Warner Bros. Game Multiversus, a Smash Bros. Style Brawler, Gets Image Leaks

Rumors have been circulating that Warner Bros. is currently working on a Smash Bros. style game using their vast amount of high-profile IPs. So far known as Multiversus, the game has yet to be officially announced but more evidence has dropped to suggest that the game is indeed real. They would not be the first company to jump on the bandwagon this year either as Nickelodean recently released a similar game using their vast roster of comics.

However, outside of the Imaginationland Trilogy of South Park, this game might be the only place you get to see a character like Wonder Woman Interact with characters like Gandolf. And now, a series of images have leaked that seem to feature design documentation for the game, which seem to offer us a better look at what we can expect from the game.

Neogaf saw several images posted on the site. One showcases Jake The Dog next to a controller that seems to showcase the control layout. Other images show several levels including a level based on Rick And Morty, complete with Armagheadon floating around the backdrop. Another showcases Finn and Jake’s treehouse from Adventure Time.

Characters showcased in these images include Womder Woman, Gandolf, Jake the Dog, and some kinda fuzzy animal with antlers that I am not familiar with. Other leaks have showcased a roster of characters including Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, Batman, and Harley Quinn, Bugs Bunny, and Tom & Jerry that seem to be a duo.

There have also been rumors circulating that the game will be released as a Free-To-Play title with DLC characters being released for it in the future. One such character that was suggested is the real-life NBA player, LeBron James, as featured in the Space Jam: A New Legacy. I imagine Dune would also be a smart source for upcoming characters, as well as Harry Potter.
