Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Winds of Magic Expansion Now on Xbox One

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 — Winds of Magic is now available on Xbox One, bringing with it a host of new features and content.

‘Winds of Magic’ is the first expansion for Warhammer: Vermintide 2, making a brand-new enemy faction—the Beastmen—and challenges to the game. “As a meteor crashes down in the Reikland, the Beastment rush to the epicenter to claim it as a Herdstone. It is up to the five heroes to stop th em before a dreadful disaster strikes the Empire.”

Fatshark—the game’s developer—CEO, Martin Wahlund, had this to say about the expansion’s Xbox One release: “We are happy to bring the ‘Winds of Magic’ expansion to our Xbox One players, and have them join the fight against the Beastmen.”

The primary features of the ‘Winds of Magic’ expansion include:

  • Beastmen — The New Enemy
  • Dark Omens — New Level
  • Winds — New Game Mode
  • Raised Level Cap
  • New Talents
  • New Weapons for all heroes
  • New Difficulty

The ‘Winds of Magic’ expansion is available for USD $19.99, or fans who prefer to play on PC can pick the game up on Steam for USD $29.99, or get the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Content Bundle (includes the base game and all expansions) on Steam for USD $69.96. Currently, Steam is running a special promotion that ends January 2, 2020, where Steam members can purchase the base game for USD $7.49 or the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Content Bundle for USD $32.56 (75% discounts).
