Version 2.0 of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War has arrived.
Pixel Toy’s latest massive update introduces a whole heap of brand-new features to the game, alongside three new devastating units.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War players with the most experience have a new way to compete with Leagues. After reaching Realm 6, players are automatically enrolled into Leagues, able to battle through the ranks and earn better rewards. League skill tiers begin at Contender I, culminating with Ultimate Warlord—the highest accolade in Realm War.
Leagues leaderboards reset every season, meaning players must battle hard and smart if they want to advance through the tiers and reach Ultimate Warlord. Each season, players can earn Victory Rewards, an all-new scaling reward system that offers a series of free, unlockable rewards—which are of better quality should that player own a Season Pass. The Season Pass also offers players the ability to queue to unlock comets, meaning they may begin to unlock one comet, then have another comet begin unlocking immediately after.
In another feature coming with version 2.0, players in Guilds can donate cards to guildmates. Each day, players may request extra cards from their guildmates for units they’ve already unlocked. This will help boost unit levels, making them even stronger in battle.
In addition to these features, version 2.0 of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War brings the Lord-Castellant, Lady Olynder, and Icefall Yhetees into the game. Legendary heroes both, the Lord-Castellant and Lady Olynder are epic, powerful units sure to shake up the battlefield. The Lord-Castellant passively increases summing energy generated, and Lady Olynder may unleash her handmaidens anywhere on the battleground, turning the tide in her favor. The icefall Yhetees are a rare troop that causes freezing with every swing of their frost-cursed weapons.
