OMG! all aboard to the nostalgia train, this time in full HD because Crash Team Racing it’s back now with some Nitro Fuel in it!.

The game have been developed by Beenox and published by Activision and according to Beenox co-studio head Thomas Wilson, the game will include new animations and personality as the team revamps the original game in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Players can choose all the classic modes like Adventure, Arcade Single Race and Cup Race, Time Trials, and Battle Mode of course all in both single-player and versus friends online and offline.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will launch on June 21, 2019, for $39.99; it will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Check out the Trailer:

It’s called Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and it’s a version of the PS1 original that Activision calls “built from the ground up.” Beenox has developed the HD upgrade, which will again feature characters like Crash and his sister Coco among the roster of playable racers. Modes from the original game carry over, like adventure and time trials.

A core difference is that Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will include both offline and online play, as one would hope for a multiplayer game launching in 2019. Still, many of us still hold a torch for the game as we remember it back in 1999, so it’s nice that things sound mostly unchanged otherwise.
