Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 First Vampire Clan Announced

If you ask a first-person RPG fan about his/her favorite upcoming title, the answer would probably be Cyberpunk 2077, but if your interviewee has a strong knowledge of the sub-genre, he/she would definitely say Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 right after, or might say Elder Scrolls VI instead? Well, whatever he/she says doesn’t matter right now, because I have something more important to talk about and that’s the first clan in Bloodlines 2 that announced by a gruesome trailer recently.

The sequel to one of the most distinct RPG titles of the previous generation announced during last month and despite an interesting trailer along with a release window, we didn’t get so much of information on Hardsuit Labs upcoming project, but the silence on the game has finally broken by revealing Thinblood, as the first vampire clan in that of Bloodlines 2 Seattle.

Thinblood is counted as a low-level vampire clan that simply you can assume them as street kids. Members of the clan usually don’t survive long, since their lack of understanding on rules of society and what they are. However, with the most of them getting killed in while young, some of them manage to gain the respect and role of a full-blood vampire within the city. Thinblood members utilize three disciplines that you can read the descriptions for each one below and then sit to watch the trailer for the clan:

  • CHIROPTERAN calls on the vampire’s strong affinity to bats, allowing her to move through the air and summon swarms.
  • MENTALISM allows the vampire to manipulate objects through telekinesis – allowing them to even pull weapons from enemies’ hands.
  • NEBULATION allows the vampire to call on her affinity to mist, allowing her to summon and command it.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has confirmed to be released in Q1 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. If new consoles get announced by then, the game may find its way through next generation too.
