Ubisoft Announces Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak for iOS & Android

Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak, the first brand in the Tom Clancy’s video game series to be developed specifically for mobile devices. Developed by Ubisoft Halifax, Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak is a real-time multiplayer sniper shooter that features fast-paced action, tactical decision-making, international arenas and real-world weapons.

True to the series’ DNA, Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak imagines a near-future scenario where disparate criminal and radical factions, known as Shadow Nations, pose a new threat to global stability. Seizing the territory of sovereign countries through a coordinated series of attacks, these Shadow Nations have taken entire populations hostage overnight. To combat this sudden threat, elite marksmen trained in unorthodox warfare and counter-insurgency are granted command of a squad of disavowed military specialists, an initiative now known as ShadowBreak.

Check the reveal trailer down below:

“Players assume the role of elite snipers commanding a squad in real-time PvP combat, deploy their troops and provide overwatch to assault the opponent’s bases. Smart target selection, troop synergy and tactical execution make the difference between victory and defeat.

Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak offers a vast array of unique weapons, gear and troops for the player to populate their loadouts. Using the almost limitless number of deck combinations available, players can craft and apply diverse strategies to achieve victory. Through these victories, players can earn rewards that upgrade their squad and arsenal to strengthen their tactical capabilities.”
