Tiny Tina’s Wonderland Announced

The announcement for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland piqued many gamers’ interest on the Summer Games Fest stream! Although we don’t know much yet about the game, the cinematic trailer left fans itching to know more. Tiny Tina will be taking players on an epic adventure starting in early 2022. Gearbox claims that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a full-length campaign, four-player cooperative gameplay, and endgame content for players to enjoy.

Voice actress Ashley Burch explained that Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is not a part of the Borderlands series. Instead, the game is a standalone title. The game will feature elements similar to Borderlands but brings more of a medieval fantasy vibe to the table.

The Borderlands spin-off looks to be a follow-up to the Borderlands 2 expansion, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. Tina’s voice actress, Ashley Burch mentioned that Tina’s role in the new game will be similar to the DLC. She will be altering the story and changing things to provide characters with unique and interesting encounters.

The voice cast for the game is jam-packed with celebrities. Featured voices the trailer credited include Wanda Sykes, Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, and Butt Stallion. The release date for Tiny Tina’s Wonderland has not been confirmed, but we know that we can expect to see more news around the title in the future. An early 2022 release is expected.

The trailer showed a man squaring off with a dragon with a unicorn leaping overtop to face the beast head-on. Tiny Tina appears towards the end and tells the audience to roll for initiative. Find the full trailer below:
