The Wolf Among Us 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the episodic narrative adventure game of the same name from 2013, itself based on the graphic novel series Fables. The sequel was officially announced to be in development in 2017, however, in 2018 developer Telltale Games closed which effectively shelved the project at the time. LCG Entertainment later revived Telltale Games and acquired the rights to The Wolf Among Us, making a sequel possible.

This led to the game being officially unannounced during the 2019 Video Game Awards, though it has remained relatively quiet since then with statements reconfirming its existence being its only real press since then. What has been confirmed is that Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette will reprise their roles as Bigsby Wolf and Snow White respectively. It is being developed under the supervision of TellTale by Adhoc Studio.

This is not the only project that Telltale has in the pipelines either, returning to their roots of creating narrative games based on popular media. A game based on the TV series The Expanse is also in development, being developed under Telltale Games by Life is Strange: True Colors developer Deck Nine.
