Actor Yuri Lowenthal, who’s known for playing Spider-Man in Insomniac’s Spider-Man games and as the voice of Yosuke Hanamura in Persona 4 took to BlueSky to comment about a potential remake for the game. “And for those who keep asking, no, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake,” the actor wrote. “I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don’t want me to come back.” This statement seemingly suggests that the long rumored Persona 4 remake may actually be in development. It’s worth noting that the post has since been taken down. Atlus has yet to confirm that a Persona 4 remake is in development. However, a p4re.jp domain was registered back in March 2024. It may suggest that a Persona 4 remake is being planned at Atlus.
