The Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer Surpassed 100 Million views In First 12 Hours Surpassing GTA V

The Grand Theft Auto VI trailer despite being leaked prior to its official release, has generated a massive amount of hype with several fans hosting discussions and outlets hyper analyzing the trailer. Due to this, it’s no surprise that the trailer now has over 107 million views and counting at the time of writing, surpassing the reveal trailer for Grand Theft Over 5 which launched in November 2011 and is currently at 103 million views to date on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel. It’s worth noting that the trailer also surpassed 100 million views in its first 12 hours and is on track to be one of the most viewed trailers of all time on YouTube.

The Grand Theft Auto VI reveal trailer starts by showing protagonist Lucia who we learn is in prison after what seems to be a robbery attempt gone wrong with an unnamed partner. The trailer also reveals that it is set in Leonida Vice City, which the trailer shows is fond of social media, is incredibly crime ridden, and is teeming with alligators and crocodiles. The trailer also shows multiple locations including a club, a strip club, hoods, beaches, and city streets. It also shows several types of cars, motorcycles, and boats. Grand Theft Auto VI will launch sometime in 2025. The game will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
